LEADING THE WAY TO A CAREFREE WORLD OF HAPPINESS, FUN, AND FREEDOM.

For over half a century, the iconic Peek Freans Pied Piper has been a key point of recognition and reassurance for Peek Freans consumers. An emblem marking quality and leading the way to a carefree world of happiness, fun, and freedom. We were tasked to revive the EBM consumer brand – Peek Freans – and to modernise the Piper expression for tomorrow and beyond. It doesn’t stop there – we have also led the charge on several of their brands.

Cake Up – a new product to the Peek Freans portfolio, and their first foray into the packaged cupcakes category. Enter, Cake Up. A sweet treat in the shape of a cupcake with ‘real goodness inside’ in a convenient, grab-and-go format. We created the whole brand identity, from naming to positioning, photography to packaging. Cake Up scored Pakistan’s first-ever Effie Award in the Snacks and Desserts category in 2019 – impressive stuff.

Smile is a brand new product in the ever-growing Peek Freans portfolio. Smile is aimed at ‘tweens’ – the product is a donut cake, available in chocolate and strawberry. The brand purpose is deliciously simple and effective – a ‘ring’ of happiness’ that encourages a smile. With a commercial ambition to drive value and margins for the business and category, our job was to create a new brand identity, including naming and packaging.

Sooper, Pakistan’s most beloved local biscuit brand, boasts over two decades of consumer trust to help people appreciate the simple joys of life. Our job? To redesign the well-loved heritage brand. It’s a revival rather than a reinvention, to hero the two key, fresh ingredients – egg and milk – and the seven iconic stripes. The results speak for themselves: post-launch consumer research shows a 43% ‘intent to purchase’ uplift. (Kantar report 2021)
