Aaron Draplin – Snowboarding

After graduating high school, Draplin attended Northwestern Michigan Community College for two years and earned his associate’s degree. At 19, he moved to Bend, Oregon to “be a snowboarder with his buddies” and began his career designing a snowboard graphic for Solid Snowboards. His career began there, designing logos and advertising campaigns, here and there, and worked in Alaska during his summers. After five years in Oregon, he headed back to the midwest, where he studied graphic design at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and polished his design skills, graduating in 2000.
