With over ten million members, Course Hero is an educational online platform where college students and educators can share and access course-specific content, notes, and study guides, tools such as sample quizzes and tests, and services like tutoring and interactive flashcards.

The new mark is an evolution of the previous one, carrying over the idea of a shield—appropriate both for the concept of a hero, and for higher education.Combined with an open book and a central star, the new abstract shield also suggests a new degree of seriousness.The traditional serif lettering for the name helps add authority to the identity.
